Study Shows that 25% of Cancer Patients Use Cannabis
It’s no secret that cannabis is medicine and is helping a lot of people, especially cancer patients. But did you know that a quarter of all cancer patients use cannabis?
According to High Times, the number comes from looking at a sample of 900 patients. It also found that most of the patients who use cannabis think that it helps to heal and provide relief, and want to learn more about it.
News Room adds that although there still hasn’t been much research on the subject, anecdotal evidence shows that cannabis does help to relieve the symptoms of cancer. However, there is still not much known about patterns of use from medical patient users.
As more states legalize and accept medical cannabis, even more, cancer patients will have access, and more will be known about the kind of help they need.
